Menu Plan Monday: February 21 to 27

It’s the first week of Michael’s new job, which means Naomi and I can get back to our regular schedule!  We took a trip out to our local farmer’s market on Sunday and got some delicious sweet potatoes, carrots and potatoes.  We also got some bruised bananas from the sale rack (baking time!).

On top of the following menu, my kitchen will also be the scene of the following food prep:

– broccoli baby food
– sweet potato baby food
– butternut squash baby food
– sweet pea baby food
– strawberry baby food
– banana baby food
– oatmeal baby food
– baby cookies

Feb 21 – Monday
Universal Muffins (Breakfast)
Fruit Smoothie (Breakfast)
Carrot & Avocado Soup (Lunch)
Cuban Bread (Lunch)
ALPHA! (Dinner)
Do-Ahead: soak 1/2 cup chickpeas; thaw 2 tomatoes

Feb 22 – Tuesday
Leftover Muffins (Breakfast)
Fruit Smoothie (Breakfast)
Leftover Soup (Lunch)
Leftover Bread (Lunch)
Curried Chickpeas (Dinner)
Chinese Fried Rice (Dinner)
Grilled Chicken Breast (Dinner)
Do-Ahead: soak lentils; thaw hamburger

Feb 23 – Wednesday
Fruit Smoothie (Breakfast)
Leftover Muffins (Breakfast)
Leftover Soup (Lunch)
Leftover Bread (Lunch)
Lentils With Garlic & Onions (Dinner)
Steamed Veggie (Dinner)
Hamburger Stew (Dinner)

Spud Special Soup (Lunch)
Garlic and Cheese Biscuits (Lunch)
